A caravan is easier to house than a motorhome: lower, usually 2.6 to 2.8 m, it can be moved by mover or by hand and needs no gate rated for 3.5 tonnes. Measure correctly
State the length including the drawbar, otherwise the space will not fit. Height including roof vent or air conditioner, width including projecting windows. In halls the gate height counts, under carports the eaves height. The search filters on exactly these dimensions.
What a covered space costs
Covered spaces for caravans cost less than for motorhomes because they need less height: barn or carport CHF 60 to 120 a month, hall CHF 100 to 200, outdoor CHF 50 to 100. Winter storage from October to April is usually offered at a flat rate. All figures in the guide Storage prices.

Does my caravan fit into an ordinary barn?
Usually yes. Caravans are 2.6 to 2.8 m tall; a 3 m barn door is enough. What matters is the length including drawbar and the room to manoeuvre.
May I live in the caravan on the space?
Only if the provider explicitly allows it; the listing shows it under "overnight stays allowed". Storage spaces are not meant for living in permanently.
