What drives the price
Length: many halls charge per metre; a 5 m van pays far less than a 9 m liner. Height: halls with gates from 3.5 m are rare and priced accordingly. Region: around Zurich, Zug and Geneva you pay noticeably more than in the Mittelland, eastern Switzerland or the Jura. Equipment: power for battery maintenance, cameras, 24/7 access, washing bay and disposal cost CHF 10 to 30 each on top or are built into a higher base price. Provider: private individuals and farmers charge less than commercial operators but usually offer no service.
