Can I sleep in my motorhome? Rule for FI-05 Allowed
The light applies to car parks and community places. Official stopovers, campsites and farms are always allowed – staying overnight is what they are for.
Finland's right to roam (jokaisenoikeudet) covers only non-motorised travel, but you may sleep in a motorhome anywhere parking is permitted at that time. Off-road, driving and parking require the landowner's permission (maastoliikennelaki 1710/1995, § 4), while outside built-up areas parking immediately beside the road is allowed without permission.

Sleeping in FI-05: how to find your spot
For FI-05 (Finland) Place me knows 24 spots for the night: 5 of them free, 15 with electricity, 11 with a dump station; most around Vuokatti, Suomussalmi, Ruhtinansalmi, Ristijärvi. Official stopovers and campsites are allowed; for car parks and community spots the light shows the regional or national rule.
