Ukraine has been under martial law with a night curfew since February 2022, and Germany's Federal Foreign Office warns against travel to the whole country. Extended on 14 July 2026 by another 90 days, it lets military administrations impose night curfews and movement restrictions (Law No. 389-VIII, Art. 8), which rules out overnighting in a camper.
