Moldova has no general ban on sleeping in a motorhome, and on an ordinary parking space sleeping inside the vehicle counts as parking. An awning, table or extended levelling jacks turn it into camping, and closed zones are forest-fund land and green spaces (150–300 lei, Contravention Code Art. 135) plus protected-area no-go zones and riparian strips (900–1,500 lei, Art. 141 and Art. 109).
