Staying overnight here is forbidden
In Croatia, merely spending the night in a motorhome at the roadside or in a public car park already counts as camping and is banned nationwide. Staying overnight is allowed only on campsites, and the fine is 190 to 1,320 euros, of which the tourism inspector can collect 130 on the spot (Zakon o ugostiteljskoj djelatnosti Art. 29 and 52).
