The light applies to car parks and community places. Official stopovers, campsites and farms are always allowed – staying overnight is what they are for.
Sleeping and camping in a vehicle are banned throughout Andorra, except at campsites, designated camping zones and the official motorhome areas. An overnight stay already exists when the vehicle is parked at night with occupants, camping when any awning, leg or furniture extends beyond its outline (art. 16 Llei 16/2017, as amended by Llei 5/2025).
