Can I sleep in my motorhome? National rule Bulgaria Tolerated
The light applies to car parks and community places. Official stopovers, campsites and farms are always allowed – staying overnight is what they are for.
There is no nationwide ban on sleeping in your vehicle, but driving, stopping and parking on beaches and dunes is entirely prohibited. Pitching a tent or parking a camper or caravan in zones "A" and "B" on someone else's undeveloped plot outside the designated sites costs 500–1,000 leva (roughly 260–510 euros), and 1,000–3,000 leva on beaches (Arts. 10a and 17b ZUCHK).
