Can I sleep in my motorhome? National rule Denmark Allowed
The light applies to car parks and community places. Official stopovers, campsites and farms are always allowed – staying overnight is what they are for.
Denmark has no right to roam for vehicles, but where parking is legal no law limits how long you may stay. Resting in the sleeping cabin is allowed, whereas a table and bench, grill, awning or roof tent count as camping and require permission from the road authority or the landowner (Vejledningsnotat om autocampere 2024).
