Sleeping in a motorhome – Italy: what applies? Tolerated
No known ban – check the signs on site.
Official stopovers, campsites and farms that take motorhomes are open to you. For car parks and community spots, this rule applies.
Under Art. 185 of the Highway Code, parking a motorhome is not camping as long as it rests only on its wheels, discharges nothing and does not take excessive space. Municipalities may restrict parking.
