Sleeping in a motorhome – Latvia: what applies? Tolerated

Official stopovers, campsites and farms that take motorhomes are open to you. For car parks and community spots, this rule applies.
Latvia has no nationwide ban on sleeping in a lawfully parked vehicle, only the coastal dune protection belt is strict. There, driving, stopping and parking off roads are prohibited for at least 300 metres inland and 150 metres in localities with an approved plan, fines of 30 to 350 euros (Aizsargjoslu likums 6. and 36. pants).
