Can I sleep in my motorhome? National rule Malta Forbidden
The light applies to car parks and community places. Official stopovers, campsites and farms are always allowed – staying overnight is what they are for.
From 1 June to 30 September no motorhome may be placed anywhere in a Maltese locality without prior authorisation from the Local Council. Parking for more than four hours on the same day already counts as placing, an authorisation covers seven days at most, and breaches cost a fine of €100 to €500 (S.L. 363.239).

Sleeping on the road – Malta: how to find your spot
Place me knows 6 spots for the night in this country: 1 of them free, 1 with electricity, 1 with a dump station; most around Żebbuġ, Iż-Żurrieq. Official stopovers and campsites are allowed; for car parks and community spots the light shows the national or regional rule. Every spot shows whether your vehicle fits, how cold the night gets and when someone last confirmed it.
