Can I sleep in my motorhome? National rule Netherlands Tolerated
The light applies to car parks and community places. Official stopovers, campsites and farms are always allowed – staying overnight is what they are for.
There is no nationwide ban, the rules are municipal under the APV, and sleeping overnight in a public car park is generally not allowed. Most municipalities prohibit camping outside designated campsites and limit parking a motorhome on the public road to three consecutive days (APV art. 4:18 and 5:6).
