Can I sleep in my motorhome? Rule for Tyrol Forbidden

The light applies to car parks and community places. Official stopovers, campsites and farms are always allowed – staying overnight is what they are for.

Camping outside campsites is prohibited (§ 3 Tyrolean Camping Act 2001), fine up to 600 euros. A stop solely to restore fitness to drive does not count as camping; municipalities may designate temporary exception areas.

The information comes from OpenStreetMap and from campers. Check signs and bans on site – the light is guidance, not legal advice. Caraplace accepts no liability for accuracy or currency; you stay at your own risk.
