Can I sleep in my motorhome? National rule Portugal Allowed
The light applies to car parks and community places. Official stopovers, campsites and farms are always allowed – staying overnight is what they are for.
Overnight stays in a homologated motorhome are permitted and capped at 48 hours per municipality where no municipal by-law applies. "Pernoita" means staying with occupants on board between 22:00 and 07:00, camping with table, chairs or levelling legs stays banned, as do overnight stays in Natura 2000 and protected coastal zones (art. 50.º-A Código da Estrada).

Sleeping on the road – Portugal: how to find your spot
